With Dysport, it’s never too late to bring back youthful looking skin. You can treat the frown lines (forehead wrinkles) and crow’s feet that have developed over years.

In just a few days after treatment, you’ll see wrinkles start to smooth and crows feet diminish. Your face will match up more closely with how you feel on the inside!

What is Dysport?

Dysport is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet.

Dysport is proven to smooth the appearance of frown lines without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face.

This FDA-approved injectable helps diminish the appearance of unsightly lines by reducing muscle contraction in the brow and forehead area. It works beneath the skin to block the signal from the nerve to the muscle, and in turn improve moderate to severe frown lines.

How Does It Work?

For moderate to severe frown lines.

When your facial muscles such as those above and between the eyebrows contract, your skin moves along with them, forming creases until the muscles return to the resting position. These are called "dynamic" wrinkles or lines because they happen as a result of the way a person's face moves.

Over time, and after many repeated movements, those creases can deepen significantly. Combine that with the natural decrease of collagen as you age, and you have the perfect recipe for severe lines and wrinkles.

Dysport works by blocking the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines and other wrinkles.

With just 1 injection into each of 5 points between and over the eyebrows, Dysport can help smooth wrinkles and help you feel your best.

If you're serious about treating your frown lines, it may just be the right treatment option for temporarily improving moderate to severe frown lines.

  • Are Botox injections safe?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA-approved and injections are relatively safe when performed by an experienced injector. It has proven to be a successful and valuable therapeutic protein when dosage, frequency of treatment & variety of treated clinical conditions are considered. The best way to ensure you receive the results you are looking for is to only receive injections from a highly experienced provider, such as the medical and nursing professionals at Ideal Image.
  • When will I see results from my Botox injections?
You shouldn’t expect immediate results from Botox injections. It usually takes between 2-14 days for the injection to take effect. Some people claim to see an immediate change but this is very unlikely and may be just wishful thinking. Your facial muscle may be particularly strong in the area treated and it may take longer to see and feel the effect. If you have very deep lines where Botox is injected then the injection is unlikely to cause the deeper lines to flatten out completely to start with – especially if you are older when you start Botox.
  • How long does Botox last?
For most of our patients, the effects of the treatment can last anywhere from 3-6 months. Many factors can influence how long the effects last. As the product wears off, muscle action returns gradually, and the previously treated lines & wrinkles may begin to reappear, and need to be treated again. With repeated treatment, the lines and wrinkles often appear less severe than before, as the muscles are being trained to relax. Some of these factors that may shorten or lengthen the effects include: - Your age - The condition of your skin and level of sun damage - Your facial structure and expressions - Your diet - Past experience with Botox of other wrinkle relaxers - And more...
  • Who should not receive Botox injections?
While most people aged 18 to 65 are excellent candidates for Botox and wrinkle relaxers, you should not use Botox if you meet any of the following: - Are pregnant or brestfeeding - Have a skin infection or other condition in the area to be treated - Are allergic to any ingredients in Botox, Dysport, or any other botulinum toxin brand - Have had a facial surgery - Have difficulty swallowing - Have weakness in your forehead muscles - And more...
