Natural-looking volume and definition for your cheeks.
Restylane Lyft is approved by the FDA for cheek augmentation and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies. This is in addition to treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines).
What is Restylane Lyft?
Over time, the natural fat that surrounds the cheeks begins to deteriorate, resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles and a reduction of volume. Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face. Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks and midface area, which can result in a more natural-looking, youthful appearance.
How Does It Work?
Lift sagging cheeks with ease.
Restylane Lyft is designed for more pronounced facial folds and cheek and mid face volume restoration. The gel is injected into the deep dermis to add volume to help restore surface contour to approximate a younger-aged appearance.
Restylane Lyft corrections maintain volume augmentation for about six to nine months before natural product degradation begins to lessen the effect.
Restylane fillers have been available since 2003 and have proven to be reliable, predictable and affordable. The addition of Lidocaine in the filler makes its treatment easily tolerated for deep dermal filling that is needed to lift sagging cheeks, jowls and mid-face areas. As well obtaining FDA-approval for the cheek areas, the ease of injecting Restylane and its predictability, make it a great option for facial volumizing.
Frequently Asked Questions About Restylane Lyft (formerly Perlane-L)
What can Restylane Lyft do?
How is the Restylane Lyft procedure performed?
How long does a Restylane Lyft treatment take?
The length of time it takes to perform the procedure will vary depending on the number of injections required and the locations to which it will be administered. After numbing the area with a topical anesthetic and/or ice, we will make a series of injections using a fine gauge needle. In addition to topical numbing, Restylane Lyft contains lidocaine to reduce patient discomfort.
Do Restylane Lyft injections hurt?
Restylane Lyft contains lidocaine to improve patient comfort. Additionally, topical anesthetic and/or ice may be used to numb the area for improved comfort. Acetaminophen may be used following treatment; however, we recommend avoiding aspirin or ibuprofen medications as these can increase bleeding and bruising. Most patients only experience minimal bruising and swelling following treatment and report only a subtle pinch during treatment.
How long will the results of Restylane Lyft last?
A clinical study found that 89 percent of patients showed improvement within two months of treatment, and over half of the approximately 200 participants maintained the fullness for over a year or longer. To maintain a more youthful appearance, you can opt to receive future maintenance treatments for cumulative and prolonged benefits.
