A collection of fillers.
As we get older, we tend to lose that little extra something — the glow on our faces that makes us feel like the best version of ourselves. (Trust us, we know.)
That’s where Juvéderm comes in. These non-invasive fillers instantly smooth away wrinkles (like those smile lines), plump up your lips, and restore lost volume in your face.
Everyone’s got their thing and whatever it is, you can expect a fresher, more youthful appearance. And a more amazing you.
What is Juvederm?
Juvéderm fillers are all non-surgical and FDA-approved. They are used to instantly smooth away moderate to severe wrinkles like smile lines (the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth) as well as plump the lips and restore lost volume for a fresher, more youthful appearance.
Looking for those lip fillers you've heard all about? You found them.
VOLUMA® XC corrects age-related volume loss in the cheeks.
VOLLURE™ XC smooths moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds).
Ultra XC and VOLBELLA® XC are lip fillers used for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines.
How Does It Work?
Get lost volume back.
Juvéderm fillers are clear gel like substances composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally exists in the body. While hearing the word "acid" may sound scary, hyaluronic acid isn't harsh or damaging at all, in fact it's the opposite.
Within the human body, large amounts of hyaluronic acid are found between the cells, where it provides skin with its youthful suppleness and moisture. Unfortunately, our bodies own natural levels of hyaluronic acid decrease with age.
Due to the decrease in hyaluronic acid as we age, combined with other factors, the facial muscles become closer to the surface of the skin, resulting in the increase appearance of wrinkles and smile lines.
When you receive a treatment with Juvéderm, the lost hyaluronic acid is added back into the skin, restoring the lost volume to smooth those unsightly wrinkles or add fullness to thin lips.
Are Botox injections safe?BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA-approved and injections are relatively safe when performed by an experienced injector. It has proven to be a successful and valuable therapeutic protein when dosage, frequency of treatment & variety of treated clinical conditions are considered. The best way to ensure you receive the results you are looking for is to only receive injections from a highly experienced provider, such as the medical and nursing professionals at Ideal Image.
When will I see results from my Botox injections? You shouldn’t expect immediate results from Botox injections. It usually takes between 2-14 days for the injection to take effect. Some people claim to see an immediate change but this is very unlikely and may be just wishful thinking. Your facial muscle may be particularly strong in the area treated and it may take longer to see and feel the effect. If you have very deep lines where Botox is injected then the injection is unlikely to cause the deeper lines to flatten out completely to start with – especially if you are older when you start Botox.
How long does Botox last? For most of our patients, the effects of the treatment can last anywhere from 3-6 months. Many factors can influence how long the effects last. As the product wears off, muscle action returns gradually, and the previously treated lines & wrinkles may begin to reappear, and need to be treated again. With repeated treatment, the lines and wrinkles often appear less severe than before, as the muscles are being trained to relax. Some of these factors that may shorten or lengthen the effects include: - Your age - The condition of your skin and level of sun damage - Your facial structure and expressions - Your diet - Past experience with Botox of other wrinkle relaxers - And more...
Who should not receive Botox injections? While most people aged 18 to 65 are excellent candidates for Botox and wrinkle relaxers, you should not use Botox if you meet any of the following: - Are pregnant or brestfeeding - Have a skin infection or other condition in the area to be treated - Are allergic to any ingredients in Botox, Dysport, or any other botulinum toxin brand - Have had a facial surgery - Have difficulty swallowing - Have weakness in your forehead muscles - And more...
